A Malaysian-American producer and writer. She went to Malaysia's Sri Aman Girls School in Petaling Jaya. She began contributing to a local daily's lifestyle section as a teenager and undergraduate. She received a degree in TV and film from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. She is known for Raya and the Last Dragon (2021), Crazy Rich Asians (2018), and Life on Mars (2008-2009).
