He also composed the soundtracks for the films Dokter Vlimmen (1977) and Kort American (1979). In 1978, he founded the rock band Diesel with Robert Vunderink. He has also been involved in the world of animation and film, where his music can be heard in films such as Barnyard, Happy Feet, and Lilo & Stitch.
