An English actor, born on May 31, 1922, Ealing, London, United Kingdom. He participated in more than 120 films and won three BAFTA Awards as Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He was also nominated for an Oscar as Best Supporting Actor for his role in A Room with a View. He died on October 6, 1992, in Santa Eulalia del Rio.
