An American actress who was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 5, 1922 as May Lewis and died in Woodland Hills, California, on June 12, 2015 at the age of 93. Her most important roles are: The Strip (1951), Earthquake (1974), and The Concorde... Airport 79' (1977). At the age of seven, she trained with her mother on voice and singing, and made many audio recordings of popular characters for cartoons, and at the age of 17 she left college to work as a radio singer, and presented many of lyrical recordings with Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, until she first appeared in Copacabana. She signed a contract with MGM in 1950 and presented her first film, Inside Straight (1951). Her film roles continued with singing and playing romantic roles.
