An American actress, born in Manhattan, New York, in the United States. She is of African and Caribbean descent. She began her acting career in New York, in off-Broadway Broadway theaters, and performed her first play in high school. She participated in many works such as Nick of Time (1995), Kiss the Girls (1997), and Nip/Tuck (2003-2010).
