An American actor, who was born in April 16, 1914 in Pittsburgh. He is of Ukrainian and Polish descent. He grew up in Hamtramck, Michigan. He worked in Ukrainian and Russian plays in the Ukrainian Catholic Church, sang in the Ukrainian church choir, played the clarinet, and even took dance lessons. He debuted in Stranger in Town (1943), and is best known for acting in Lifeboat (1944), Song of Russia (1944), Maisie Goes to Reno (1944). He starred in Love from a Stranger (1947). He died in October 19, 1955 in Hollywood, California.
