An Italian actor, born as Antonio Sabato Sr. in Montelepre, Palermo, Italy. In 1971, he married Yvonne Sabato, with whom he had two children, including actor Antonio Sabato Jr. He made his debut in the movie Lo scandalo (1966). His notable works include Escape from the Bronx (1983), Grand Prix (1966), and Bye Bye Vietnam (1988). He died of complications from COVID-19 on January 6, 2021, in the United States, at age 77.
