A Danish actress, born in Frederiksberg, Denmark, to architect parents. She worked at a bookstore and pursued her studies in theology. At the age of seventeen, she got a role in the movie Oviri (1986), and in the same year, she participated in Early Spring (1986). She is known for Pelle the Conqueror (1987), Mifune (1999), and Flickering Lights (2000).
