Jane Wyatt was an American actress who won a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series in 1958, 1959, and 1960. She received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. Jane is famous for her role in the movies Boomerang! (1947), Pitfall (1948), and the series Father Knows Best (1954-1960). Jane Wyatt attended Chapin School and then Barnard College, which she left after two years, to attend Berkshire Playhouse in Massachusetts, where for six months she played a variety of roles, then moved to Broadway and performed the play Trade Winds. She moved from the theater to the cinema under a contract with the Universal Company, to present her first film, One More River (1934). She then became a television actress, who sometimes performs cinematic films.
