British actor, born on March 5, 1874 in Prudhoe, Northumberland, England, United Kingdom as Travers John Heagerty. He married Ann G. Murphy. His most famous works include The Invisible Man (1933), Mrs. Miniver (1942), and Shadow of a Doubt (1943). He died on October 18, 1965, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA due to atherosclerosis at the age of 91 years.
