An American actress who was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 8, 1929 as Marian Lepriel Tanner. She married photographer Allen M. Daley, then director Stanley Donen. She is known for her roles in: I Was a Male War Bride (1949), That's My Boy (1951), and Sailor Beware (1952). At the beginning of her contract with Fox in 1947, she spent four years playing the role of a secretary or telephone operator, and strangely enough, she wore the same dress in all of them. She was a close friend of the star Marilyn Monroe, who contracted with Fox in the same year.
