A Japanese writer and director, born in Yokohama, Japan. He studied at a school for screenwriters and won a TV Drama Award. He soon began focusing on writing animated series and participated in many series such as Kimba the White Lion, Babel II, The Kabocha Wine, and Peachboy Legend. Yukimuro created the manga series Ohayō! Spank, which was turned into an animation series in 1981, after which Yukimuro won the Kodansha Manga Award in 1981.
