An American actress, who was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on August 13, 1913, and died in Hollywood, California, on October 31, 1965 from a brain hemorrhage. Rita's most important roles are in: Here Comes Mr. Jordan (1941), They Won't Believe Me (1947),The BigClock (1948) and Sleep My Love (1948). Rita Johnson studied at the New England Conservatory of Music. She moved to Broadway in 1935 and from there to Hollywood, where she made her film debut, London by Night 1937.
