An Iranian actress, born in Malayer, Iran. She earned a BA in dramatic arts from the Tehran University of Art. She began her acting career on stage in the mid-1970s and then began appearing in films. Her most notable works include Snowman (1995), The Extraordinary Journey (1990), Unbreakable Mirrors (2008), and A Green Journey (2002).
