An American actor, who was born on September 19, 1888, in Cincinnati. He began his career in 1926, which lasted for more than 27 years. He is known for appearing in a number of films in the 1930s and 1940s, usually playing the role of villains or comedic characters. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Hall worked for the Fleischmann Company while also directing and acting in small theater productions. Cleveland Hall began his career as a stage actor with roles in The Great Gatsby, and Naked in 1926. He is best known for The Thin Man (1934), Men with Wings (1938), and Murder, He Says (1945). He died on October 6, 1953 in Los Angeles California, USA of a heart attack.
