American actress and model, born on August 20, 2000, in the United States. She is also a human rights activist working with UN Women's #HeForShe campaign for gender equality. Her mother is Ecuadorian and her father is of Norwegian, Czechoslovakian, Irish, and Colombian descent. She is a gymnast, competing at United States of America Gymnastics Level 7. Since 2012, she voiced the title role in Nickelodeon's animated television series Dora the Explorer, and Dora and Friends: Into the City!. She is known for Curfew (2012), and Before I Disappear (2014).
