An Iranian actress, born in the city of Shiraz, Iran. She obtained a BA in acting and theater directing in 1986 from the University of Tehran, Faculty of Fine Arts. She is the widow of the late artist, Jamshid Esmailkhani. She began working in the artistic field through the theater stage, before participating in many artistic works, including The Lady (1992) and Saghar (1997). She also received the Golden Statue Award for Best Actress at the 7th Cinema House Ceremony in Iran, for the movie Donya in 2003.
