Egyptian writer born in Aswan on 28 March 1927 to a Greek mother and an Egyptian father. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University in 1948. He received his PhD in Law from Cairo University in 1964. He has several published works and has also worked as a translator from English, French, and Greek into Arabic. He wrote several studies and articles that were published in Egyptian culture magazine since 1956. His works include the series The Case of Saqr (1972). He died on 20 March 2012.
