An English singer, actress and presenter, born on May 27, 1943 in Liverpool, England. She began her career in 1963. She was a fan of the Beatles, and reached the top ten on the UK Songs chart for eleven times. Her song "You Are My World" became a hit in the United States and reached number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. As a TV presenter, she had received a BAFTA award for her contribution to entertainment for over 50 years. Her first acting tribute was with Frankie and Bruce in 1966. She died on August 1, 2015, at the age of 72 at her home in Spain.
