An American actress, born in Sydney, Australia, on December 13, 1917, and died in Torrance, California, on August 24, 2006. She is est known for her roles in Badman's Territory (1946), Love From a Stranger (1947), and Sorry, Wring Number (1948). Anne Richards was born in Australia to an American father and a New Zealand mother. She studied at the University of Sydney, and made films in Australian cinema. Her film debut was It Isn't Done (1937). She traveled to Hollywood and signed with Paramount Acting Company. She retired in 1952, but she was writing poetry, and also wrote the play Helen of Troy.
