Indian actress, born on October 29, 1981, in Kolkata, India. She completed high school at St. Thomas Girls School in Kidderpore, Kolkata, then her family moved to Mumbai. She completed her studies and started modeling. She got her first break in Telugu and Tamil films. She is married to Shiv Karan Singh and they have one kid together. She is known for Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Ayirathil Oruvan (2010), and Minnale (2001).
