American actor born on 12 August 1926, in Seattle, Washington. One of his first appearances was in a small role in Kings Row (1942). He also appeared in Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942), The Pride of the Yankees (1942) and Batman (1943). He died on 24 October 1963 in Los Angeles, California at age 37.
