American actress born in Cleveland, Ohio on 4 April 1922. Her notable film roles include Down to Earth (1947), The Naked City (1948), Calamity Jane and Sam Bass (1949), and Tarzan's Savage Fury (1952). She died on 11 July 2004 in North Carolina from Alzheimer's-related complications, at age 82.
