A Syrian writer and director, born in France. She studied theater criticism at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus and graduated from the Institute for Theater, Audiovisual and Cinematic Studies in Beirut. Her films have been shown in many national and international festivals. She received international awards such as the Martin Filippi Award, the ITU Grand Prix, the Monte Carlo Television Festival Award, and the Golden Muhr Award for Documentary Films at the Dubai International Film Festival. Her most important works include Exodus (2022), Aziza (2019), and The Day I Lost My Shadow (2018).
