An American actor, born in Santa Rosa, California, USA. He worked in radio, joined the US Army during World War II, then moved to cinema after the war, and made his film debut with a small role in the movie Shadow of a Doubt in 1943. He worked alongside Paul Newman in the movie Winning in 1969, and the movie WUSA in 1970. He also participated in the movie Rollercoaster in 1977.
