French writer, born in Villars-en-Val, Aude, France. He wrote several novels and books and adapted a work under the name Jeanne d'Arc which was adapted into the movie The Passion of Joan of Arc in 1928. He died on April 12, 1978, in Grapels, Hérault, France at the age of 83.
