A Romanian director and writer, born on December 15, 1973, in Bucharest, Romania. His works include Pororoca (2017), Tales from the Golden Age (2009), and Principles of Life (2010). He was a member of the official competition jury at the 66th San Sebastián International Film Festival in 2018, the 18th Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2019, and the 30th Torino Film Festival in 2012. Also, he is a member of the European Film Academy.
