A Cuban actress, born on May 7, 1931, in San Diego de los Baños, Cuba. She majored in theology and began her artistic career in 1954. She continued to work on stage, mainly as a playwright and director of the Trotamundos theater group, with whom she produced several plays. Among her most important works are Sin Alas (2015), Candelaria (2017), and El Regreso (2018).
