His debut was directing and writing the short film Nanfang in 2010. His most notable works include Kaili Blues (2015), Long Day's Journey Into...Read more Night (2018), the short film A Short Story (2022), and the feature film Resurrection (2025). He won the Best New Director award for Kaili Blues at the 2015 Golden Horse Film Festival. He was also nominated for an award for Long Day's Journey Into Night at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
