He joined the Democratic Union of Students in 1967 and was a staunch opponent of...Read more the Franco regime. He was arrested in 1969 for subversive activities and again in 1971 while a member of the Trotskyist Revolutionary Communist League (LCR). He was arrested during a student rally on February 24, 1971, and imprisoned for illegal associations and propaganda, and was tortured. He died from COVID-19 in March 2020 at the age of 71.
