A Moroccan writer and director, born in Casablanca. He began his professional career as an assistant to the Egyptian director Salah Abu Seif in 1988. He also trained for a period in Rome with director Franco Umberto in 1992 and completed his training experiences with French director Sylvie Bali in 2000. He also directed his first short film Days of the Siege (2000), and then he wrote the film The Hamriya Boy for the director Adil El Fadili. He returned to directing with the short film Childhood in 2006. He also appeared on Moroccan television with his film Hors Jeu and directed the cinematic film, Moroccan Robbery (2019).
