English actress, voice actress, and singer. She is best known for her role in the animated film Alice in Wonderland (1951). When she was ten years old, Disney chose her to play Alice. She also played Wendy in Peter Pan (1953). She finished her studies, and after graduating from college, she worked as an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles for three years.
