British actress born Nora Rosamund Jones on 19 October 1913 in Tottenham, London, UK. She studied acting at the Embassy Theatre and made her onscreen debut on The Secret of the Loch (1934). Two years later, she made her West End debut on Anthony and Cleopatra. Her most notable works include Spitfire (1942), Tawny Pipit (1944), The Upturned Glass (1947), and She Shall Murder (1950). She married twice and had one child. She died on 27 October 1998 in Lambeth, London, UK.
