English actress born on 5 November 1979 in Rotheram, South Yorkshire, UK. She studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts - the school founded by Sir Paul McCartney. She graduated in 2001 and began her career in 2002. Her works include Vera Drake (2004), A Short Stay in Switzerland (2009), Wild Bill (2011), Pride (2014), and Brexit: The Uncivil War (2019).
