She studied literature at Harvard University and majored in film production at the Film School. She trained in acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in England. She began her artistic career in 1997 and is known for her roles in films such as Black (2005), Prince (2010), and Jhootha Hi Sahi (2010).
