An Austrian actress, born in Vienna, Austria. She was one of the most popular Austrian actresses in the fifties and sixties. From 1945, she studied at the Max Reinhardt Seminar School, and the Academy of Music and Drama until 1949, and in the same year she became a member of the Theater in der Josefstadt. She began her artistic career in 1949, and her most important works include Schlagerparade (1953), Die Kaiserin von China (1953), Die Botschafterin (1960), The Burning Court (1962), and Lulu (1962).
