Jordanian actor, born on February 12, 1953 in Amman, Jordan. He studied at the University of Surrey in the late 1970s and contributed to the student union newspaper Naked Facts. In 1997, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the university for his services in promoting the arts of disability. He is known for the films Children of Men (2006), Morticia (2009) and Another World (1995).
