She was a Japanese actress and singer, born on July 23, 1935, in Tokyo, Japan. Her father was the famous Japanese painter Shinsui Itô. She is known for The Tale of The Princess Kaguya (2013), My Neighbors the Yamadas (1999), and Hanzo the Razor: Sword of Justice (1972). She passed away on April 27, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.
