Tunisian playwright and television producer, he is considered one of the symbols of Tunisian culture. He had a great contribution to the drafting of Statement 11, which is the founding document of the modernization movement in the Tunisian theater that was led by the generation of the sixties. He also produced cultural programs on television that are considered essential documents chronicling the transformations of the Tunisian and Arab cultural scene. He also managed the International Cultural Center in Hammamet and prepared the complete works of playwright Samir Ayadi. Among his works are: Yahia Ibn Omar, He Hit Me and Cried and Al-Wathiq BiAllah Al-Hafsii.
