A Japanese actress, born in Osaka, Japan. She received the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Actress in 1959. She married composer Takeharu Yamamoto in 1962 and gave birth to her son, Shigiharu Yamamoto. Her credits include The Twilight Story (1960) and An Actor’s Revenge (1963).
