An Egyptian screenwriter and director born in Alexandria. He began his career writing and directing short films. He then worked as an AD in several films and series. He co-wrote his first work A Million Pound Idea, which kickstarted his career. His credits include the series Bright Black, Al Maddah, and Except Me.
