An American actor who was born on September 19, 1887 in Maryville, Missouri. He began his career in the theater before becoming a film actor in the 1930s and early 1940s. He is known for She Loves Me Not (1934), Union Pacific (1939), and Reap the Wild Wind (1942). He died on February 19, 1943 in California, USA of a heart attack.
