An Australian actress, born in Melbourne, Australia. She trained in ballet in Melbourne but dislocated her knee before she could audition for the Australian Ballet School when she was fourteen. She completed her secondary education at St Michael's Grammar School, in the suburb of St Kilda. She made her debut in the TV series Five Mile Creek (1985), then participated in several works such as the series The Cry (2018), Offspring (2010), The Hunting (2019), the films X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Hawke (2010), and The Society Murders (2006). She was nominated for a Golden Logie Award as Most Popular Actress in Australian Television.
