Other works of his include Adventures in Silverado (1948), Black Eagle (1948), The Texas Rangers (1951), and Wyoming Renegades (1955). His last film appearance was in The Oregon Trail (1959) and his last TV appearance was on Riverboat (1959). He married Shirley Mohr Bishop and she remained with him until he died of cancer on 3 October 1959 in Malibu, California.
