A radio host, journalist, and screenwriter, born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. After graduating from Harvard University, he worked as a writer, publishing his first book, Fatal Subtraction, in 1981. His works include the television movie of the same name in 1988, and the series, The West Wing, from 1999 to 2006.
