A Puerto Rican actress, director, and curator, who founded Hero Theatre, a social and environmental justice theater company in Los Angeles. She won the prestigious TCG Leadership U Grant, the largest grant of its kind in the country, which allowed her to be part of the leadership team at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for two seasons. She worked alongside playwright Amina Henry. She is also mentored by Patrisse Cullors, the co-founder of Black Lives Matter. She participated in a number of works including White Oleander (2002).
