British actor, born in Leeds, England, on January 7, 1924. He was nominated for a Royal Midland Television Award, as Best Actor for his role in Peak Practice in 1998. His most famous works include: A Night to Remember in 1958, Casino Royale in 1967, and Catweazle from 1970-1971. He died from respiratory problems in Leeds, West Yorkshire, on May 10, 2017, at the age of 93.
