An American theater director, choreographer, film director, and actress, she began studying dance at the age of five, majoring in English at the University of Delaware, and trained as a dancer. She studied at the Wilmington Dance Academy. Her artistic works include Whoopee! (1979) and Musical Chairs (1980).
