An American actress, director, and producer, born on March 25, 1964, in Los Angeles. LisaGay Hamilton enrolled in Carnegie Mellon University to study theater, but a year later, she was accepted into NYU's Tisch Drama School, from which she obtained a BFA in Theater in 1985, whereupon she pursued graduate studies at the Juilliard School, from which she obtained an MA in Drama in 1989. She started her career In 1985 and is known for The Practice (1997-2003), Jackie Brown (1997), and The Sum of All Fears (2002).
