She is an Indian actress, born on February 16, 1958, in India. Although she appeared in small and supporting roles during the 1980s and 1990s, she landed a leading role opposite Rishi Kapoor in Barood (1976). She is known for Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Hungama (2003), and Salma (1985).
